UAE, RAK International Corporate Center (RAK ICC) issued a statement that it will no longer require a Certificate of Good Standing (COGS).

Instead, a screenshot that proves a Corporate Shareholder is Active/Effective under the UAE National Economic Register (NER) will be enough requirement replacing COGS.

This applies to the following services request:

  • Add/Remove Nominee Board Member/Trustee
  • Agent Preliminary Onboarding
  • Annual Return Filing
  • Changes to Share Capital
  • Company Renewal
  • New Incorporation
  • Transfer of Domicile

This is in line with the UAE’s drive to streamline the procedures of doing business in the private sector and encourage investments from small, medium, and big enterprises.
