His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai announced the granting of 100,000 golden visas to promising tech-talent to both residents and non-residents of the UAE. This initiative will further bolster the UAE’s National Programme for Coders, which aims to forge ahead UAE’s status as a digital hub and attract new talent in the technology industry.

The country is set to expand its digital footprint and prepare the necessary infrastructure to yield innovation and creativity. These efforts are aligned to establish 1,000 major digital companies in the UAE over the next five years.

Industry talents and experts specialising in various areas of coding extended to those who work for pioneering international technological firms are eligible to apply. Those graduates of software engineering, computer sciences, hardware engineering, information technology, artificial intelligence, data science, big data, and electrical engineering are deemed best fit to one of the requirements.
